It’s been a busy few days around here! My parents left on Friday after a fun-filled week. To sum it up there was much sewing, much laughter, some baseball, lots of grandparent cuddling, a night-away for Brian and I, bike riding, some yard work, good food, warm weather, and great conversations. What a blast!
 It’s amazing the kind of projects that get done with the help of my mama! The extra pair of hands (and not to mention the encouragement and motivation!) really does the trick! For about 6 months now I’ve needed to make a new bedskirt for our bed. Our old bed frame (which didn’t require a [...] My little man is obsessed with buttons. Whenever he is having a fussy afternoon, all I have to do is show him the button on my pants and he is occupied and content. The other day it occurred to me that I could put together a custom activity blanket for Parker using old pants, specifically [...] I love the online craft community! It is truly a friendly and helpful place. Even though I make most of my own crafts, I still find it hard to resist a cute and reasonable purchase here and there.
